iOS 5 Beta 5 Firmware For iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch, iPad and AppleTV


iOS 5 was first announced at WWDC, Apple's developer-oriented conference, along with the release of iOS 5 Beta 1 for registered developers only. Some of the permanent features of iOS 5 beta 1 were a new notification center, iCloud and Apple's new cross-device messaging platform iMessage.
Apple has also released iTunes 10.5 Beta 5, which is requirement to sync iOS 5 Beta 5 devices.

iOS 5 beta 2 tethered jailbroken firmwares. You know how it goes, watch the link if you're unsure how to use them. The iPhone 3GS Old Bootrom is untethered, meaning that you don't have to follow the redsn0w section of the video, you just restore to the firmware. Old Bootrom 3GS =the 4th and 5th digits of the serial number are less than or equal to 40. For example, a serial number MB5381024 would be older bootrom, due the 4th and 5th digits being the number 38. However, we've completed a cycle now so you may get a number like 03 if your device was purchased recently, meaning you have a new bootrom. If in doubt, contact me about it. Hacktivation is unsupported, however there is baseband preservation for those wanting unlock.

Apple iOS 5 Beta 6 (Iphone, Ipad, Ipod)



Apple today pushed out the sixth beta version of iOS 5 to developers, marking yet another step in the development process leading up to the public release of iOS 5 later this year. The release, which is labeled as Build 9A5302b, comes nearly two weeks after the surprise Saturday release of the fifth beta version earlier this month.
The over-the-air version of iOS 5 beta 6 for the iPhone checks in at 144 MB. (Thanks, Parker!)
In addition to iOS 5 beta 6, Apple has also released a new beta version of iTunes 10.5 and a new preview version of Xcode 4.2 to support the release.
Apple is expected to release iOS 5 for existing hardware around the time of the iPhone 5 launch, with rumors for the debut now coalescing around early October.
Update: Apple has also pushed out iWork for iOS beta 2 and a new "beta 5" of the Apple TV software.
Update 2: As noted by It's All Tech, Apple on the Mac side has pushed out a new developer seed of OS X 10.7.2 (Build 11C40), iCloud for OS X Lion beta 8, and a new build of Safari 5.1.1, all to be used for testing out iCloud.
Update 3: iLounge notes that Apple appears to have disabled Nike+ syncing through iTunes for iOS 5 users with the new beta, forcing them to use the wireless syncing option that debuted in iOS 4.1.

iPad iOS 5 Beta 1


Update: the Dev Center has come back online for (almost) everyone, and the first news about iOS beta 1 are starting to come in. Notably, some users are already tweeting from iOS 5 as you can see from the screenshots below. Twitter reports "via iOS" as the client that sent the tweet, but redirects to twitter.com when clicking on it. Photos are hosted on Photobucket as part of Twitter's recently announced photo service.[/center]

Among many of the new features present in this release, the most prominent include a new to-do system known as Reminders; enhancements to Mobile Safari; iMessage, a new exclusive instant messaging client for iOS users; and a built-in set up wizard, eliminating the need for a computer connection in order configure the handset
